Hipster alert

This story on Stuff is a repeater of something on the Internet, as the MSM is increasingly doing. (How many “journalists” does it take to read Mashable?) It features a hipster and mocks him, quite rightly. But the caption to the photo reads:

THE COMPLETE HIPSTER: The ultimate collection of hipster tropes in one vintage package.

Isn’t “trope” the kind of word a hipster might use?
