While I spent
the last four days at home editing a novel, my wife took Miss Ten and Miss Twelve
to Feilding, where her set of grandparents are. While there, the children visited
the ancestral farm. They phoned last night and I asked them what the highlight
of the visit was. Miss Twelve reported:
We got there and they were killing the sheep. They skinned it and then Alice cut it up and showed us the heart. We saw the four stomachs and the cancer.
Miss Ten said:
It was yuckily interesting.
